Student Destinations

Strong performances in 2025 enable Sixth Formers to secure university places on sought-after STEM courses.

With some excellent individual performances, the majority of students now choosing to go on to university have successfully secured their place of choice. This includes many who are continuing the long-running trend of EBA students pursuing STEM subjects at university as they prepare for successful careers and futures.

Amongst our top performing students:

Nicholas K, who has secured a place to study Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London;
Karan S, who is also heading to Queen Mary University of London but to study Engineering;
Zubair I, who will be joining the University of Leeds to study Mathematics;
Kavishan T, who will be studying Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton;
Deno K, who will be joining the University of Nottingham to study Mechanical Engineering;
Shanthoos J, who will also be going on to study Mechanical Engineering but at the University of Birmingham.

The popularity of engineering programmes amongst this year’s graduating cohort has also continued with those on vocational pathways. Thanks to strong performances at BTEC, other students taking up university offers include:

Ibrahim K and Sheyraryar A who are going on to study Mechanical Engineering at Brunel University of London and Kingston University London respectively;
Ali S and Abdur R who are choosing to study Aerospace Engineering at Kingston University and City St George’s, University of London respectively.

Demonstrating outstanding ambition and perseverance, Ernest Bevin Academy students achieved a very strong set of A Level results in 2024, with almost 100% of students securing their first choice of university destination.
