Ernest Bevin Academy receives recognition for the work it does as a school from a number of different external agencies, working in partnership with organisations to improve the provision of education the school can offer students.

Combined Cadet Force

The Combined Cadet Force at Ernest Bevin Academy offers life changing experiences that no other extra-curricular activity can match. Through the CCF, students have the opportunity to take part in a huge range of exciting and adventurous, military-themed activities, developing life skills and self-confidence to take charge of their lives so they can reach their full potential at school and beyond, including in employment.

Health & Safety Inspection

In 2022, Wandsworth Borough Council carried out their annual Health & Safety Inspection of Ernest Bevin Academy. The Inspection found the school was achieving between full compliance in 91-100% of the categories. This puts Ernest Bevin Academy in the highest category ‘Very good’ and 2-3 categories above the majority of schools.

Community Cricket

In partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket, Ernest Bevin Academy runs a Sixth Form Cricket Academy. Students can undergo cricket training after school and receive assistance in learning how to become cricket coaches themselves. It is possible to combine both cricket and post-16 studies.
